State Enterprise “Ivano-Frankivsk Grain Processing Plant”

In the city of Ivano-Frankivsk, a conflict has erupted between the Regional State Administration (RSA) and the Grain Processing Plant (KHP).

Why didn’t the plant receive such attention from local officials and other influential figures back in 2014 — or even earlier? At that time, on Yunosti Street, the enterprise was slowly falling apart, and no one seemed to care.

But in 2016, once the plant demonstrated over 200% growth in sales, launched its own brand, improved the quality of its flour, took the risk of accepting oilseeds for storage for the first time, established bran exports, and increased its tax contributions to the city, suddenly it turned out that “the director was not coping with his duties” and needed to be dismissed.

One can’t help but wonder — what would become of our country if everyone “failed” so successfully?
