A WORKING MEETING IN PRAGUE BETWEEN THE HEAD OF UADSI AND THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA

On November 26, 2024, a working meeting took place in Prague between Yevhen Krupa, Head of the Ukrainian Defense and Security Industry Association (UADSI), and Rolandas Kačinskas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Czech Republic.

Yevhen Krupa spoke about the recently held Forces of the Future Forum (FFF-24) in Prague, which brought together delegates from over 60 countries. For the first time in the forum’s long history, a Ukrainian platform titled “Civil Security and Cooperation” was organized.

Representatives of state and local authorities, law enforcement agencies, humanitarian organizations, and experts from Ukraine’s energy sector shared their extraordinary experiences of operating under the conditions of active warfare with the Russian aggressor. The discussion primarily focused on rapid information dissemination, civilian evacuation, provision of temporary housing, energy, medicines, food supplies, and mine clearance of territories.

Yevhen Krupa also presented Ambassador Rolandas Kačinskas with the Action Plan of the Association aimed at informing European countries about ensuring civilian safety under armed conflict conditions.

The distinguished Lithuanian diplomat highly praised the work done by the Ukrainian Defense and Security Industry Association and supported the idea of organizing a similar conference in Lithuania, to enable sharing and learning from the invaluable experience of Ukrainian specialists.

During the meeting, the participants also discussed potential cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania in the military and defense sectors.

As a token of appreciation and in recognition of Lithuania’s consistent support for Ukraine, Yevhen Krupa, Head of the Association, presented Ambassador Rolandas Kačinskas with the UADSI Honorary Medal “For Service to the Ukrainian People.”
